A year ago, a more romantic, elegant and sustainable lighting system was inaugurated in our town, which means that many people don’t want to miss it at this time of the year.Exactly 400.000 light bulbs and different Christmas figures will illuminate and decorate Santillana del Mar from the 1st of December. The aim: to attract and enchant a larger number of visitors than last year.
• In addition, on the evening of the 5th of January you can enjoy in the historic town of Santillana del Mar one of the most classic representations of the night of the Three Kings «La Cabalgata de Reyes», an event that celebrates more than fifty years of history and that in 2009 was classified as a Festival of National Tourist Interest.
